The Great Gatsby Scholarship Soiree was a huge success! Thank you to our alumni and friends for supporting this worthwhile event. A total of $2,000 in scholarships were awarded to the following students, now known as our John Odom Scholars:
- Rahman Muhammad, Junior, Accounting major
- Joselyn Guevara, Senior, Accounting major
- Kennedi Walker, Junior, Management major
- Ashtyn Perry, Sophomore, Accounting/Finance major
In addition to receiving scholarship money, the John Odom Scholars will also receive ongoing support through mentorship and career guidance from the JHJ Alumni Chapter.Special thanks to our Soiree Committee Chair, Jasmine Belton, for leading the effort, and our generous sponsors and underwriters for making this event possible. It is because of continued support from individuals like you that TSU students and graduates have been inspired to lead meaningful lives of leadership, distinction, and service with impact on the Greater Houston community and beyond.
